Diwan Todar Mal, who paid 7,800 gold coins to the Mughal authorities to purchase Four yards of land On December 13, 1705. His only purpose was to ensure a dignified burial (cremation) for the two young sons (Chote Sahibzade) and the mother of Guru Gobind Singh, who had sacrificed their lives for their faith. Diwan Todar Mal's act of sacrifice and devotion remains an inspiring chapter in Sikh history.
